A new release from Mumbo Jumbo games is the third installment of the Luxor game series. Of all the marble-shooter games, the Luxor series has consistently been a cut above the rest and Luxor 3 is no disappointment!

The most obvious aspect that sets this game apart from most others, is the incredible detail of the graphics. I eagerly awaited each new level and was continually amazed by the scenic images. The soundtrack for the game is just as impressive and really conveys the ambiance of ancient Egypt.

The object of the game is to clear a series of marble chains before they reach the end of the path by shooting marbles to create matches of three or more similar colors. The game mechanics are easy to learn and understand, and the levels increase in difficulty gently, giving the player plenty of time to get used to the game play. Unique puzzle bonus rounds in between the main levels are a great new addition and offer quite a challenge!

Creative power-ups can be used during the levels and always seemed to appear when I was in a pinch! Upgrades are available for purchase in between levels, which include items like fancy new marble sets, extra power-ups, and premium shooters.

If you haven’t tried the Luxor games before, and even if marble-shooters aren’t your cup of tea, Luxor 3 is well worth the download. I truly enjoyed this game!
