This new game by oberon due out in May 2007 combines the brilliant murder mysteries of the famous writer Agatha Christie with the famed hidden object game genre. We’re a fan of the bbc tv series “Poirot” which features the detective Hercule Poirot solving crimes. Poirot is the detective in charge of solving the murder in death on the nile. This is definitely a huge boon to the entire casual game industry as established brands and stories enter the arena to create a new art form. I did not like this game at all. The items listed were very hard to see with the colored background. When getting clues it did not always give them to you. Would give clue on item already found.
It took me a little bit of messing around, but there are 3 additional ducks in the picture that you need to find to put with the ducks that are already on the shelf.

this game is way too short.
I keep trying to find out where to put the parts of the rainbow, I can find them but the hints tell you where they are and not where to put them. There is no way to figure out where to put them so you can get them all together.
Need help with the rainbow, I can find the colors but what to do with them?
The beads have to be rotated so that they display symbols in alphabetical order, starting at “A” with the first bead and moving counter-clockwise around the necklace.

You can just skip the rosary and still complete the game

You need to arrange the pictures on the beads in such a way that you have all the different pictures showing. Just rotate them and in a few attempts you’ll have it.

They rhyme. “Dog” – “Hog”
Click on the dart board with the pieces. If yu click on the correct spaces ont he dart board they all fit
Use items that rhyme nail and pail and so forth.
I downloaded the game and I can play it but it has a few glitches for me. On the start up screen where it says Death on the Nile I dont see it all. I see the D then it kind of runs off.. same as in every room the right hand side seems to run off (blur if u will) .. I am not sure how to check my video card to see if its compatible. any help would be great … thanks

There are 5 ducks all in all. Only duck 1 and duck 5 are in the shelf. Just place duck 2, duck 3 and duck 4 in line with duck 1 and duck 5.
If you read the other questions you will find it has already been answerd.
I have tried to download this game four times and removed and re-installed and it still will not intialize. Notes to bigfishgames.com are to no avail.Any suggestions.

Good game if it didnt keep having errors on it only got to the second level and it kept having problems :
If you keep getting the error that you are placing something in the wrong place….
Make sure you are clicking where you want it with your mouse arrow and not with the object that you are moving. The game sees where you click, not with what you are carrying.
ducks 1 & 4 are already on the shelve. You have to find duck 2 and place next to duck 1 and find 3 and place next to 4. you cannot place duck 2 until the other ducks are placed first.
You have to find the right color first and try putting it next to a color that is similiar on the rainbow
Line up the ducks on the shelf where there are already two ducks. Top Shelf middle of the back wall.
Thanks for the help on the rainbow colors. After I got that one, I whizzed through the rest of the game. Loved the game. It was so much better than search games without a point. I liked solving the puzzle. The graphics are a little dark, making it difficult to find lots of items, but I like the challenge.
I still cannot solve the puzzle box, this is the only thing I stuck.

I purchased Agatha Christie from Big Fish and completed downloading as usual but failed to initiate the game. A white screen appeared only and my computer shut off. I’ve done what they advised me from their help site but still the same. Any solution? pls help
This is a good game, but, it takes sooo long for the art files, etc., to download.

I saw the preview of Death on the Nile on Comcast. As a retired producer I have to say that you used the worst narrator in the history of narration. The only thing that was worse than his inability to read was his dreadful attempt at a British accent. This amateur couldn’t even pronounce “Agatha” correctly! Not good for your game chaps.
I downloaded from Reflexive Entertainment and all is well though I would like a few hundred more levels….
It took me awhile to figure out the pen cup too. I read a few sites and added it together… There is a brown cup to the left of the coffee cup that has the toothbrush in, on the small dresser at the foot of the bed. It hardly looks like a cup, but that’s it.

You put the ducks on the shelf where the other ducks are, the one on the right i think it is has his head hanging over the edge of the shelf. The ducks are numbered so they need to go in order.

i like the game but cant get past the pens in a cup. i can find the cup and all the pens but the pens that are horizontal will not go in to the cup and its driving me mad.

Help! How do I get the rainbow in Tim Allterton’s room
I have downloaded this game from every site available to my laptop and it won’t play no matter what I do. The screen goes white and then black and I have to hit ctrl,alt, del to get out of it. Any suggestions would be a help. I even undated my directx to see if this is the problem. I have a fairly new compaq p4, xp, plenty of ram and no problem with any other game. thanks. I have about used up my free hour trying to get it to work.
Find the different coloured wedges, then try to put them on the dartboard. If you put them in the right place they will stay there.

On the shelf you will find the first duck, it will have a 1 on it, find the other ducks, they are numbered and then just put them in order.
You have to put near each picture, pictures that are written the same way, for example near the book you put the cook, the hook, the rook, etc…
where’s the letter in old womans room in #7
i was unable to click on several clues; specifically the taxi sign and the egyptian eye. no matter how many times i clicked on them i could not get them to activate. extremely frustrating. is anyone else having same problems? btw: playing free download on gamesville.

this game seems like it would be great fun… i have enjoyed many of the previous hidden object games, but have never encountered the kind of super-dark background this one seems to have. even at the highest brightness on my monitor and video card settings, i could not see into the murky background to find many objects. i also agree with those who complained about the colored background behind the clues… very hard to see the lettering.
love hidden object games, wish downloads were longer , its a pity you can’t buy them at the shops.

No matter the direction of the pen, click the cup, they will be inserted.
Ok, I’ve tried every way I know of to get the horizontal(sp?) roses in the vase… they just won’t go!! Please, does anyone know how? I had the same trouble with the pens, but they did eventually go… but the roses… omg. I could scream.

pls help.. some objects are hard to see because the object right next to them are smudged.. also, in miss bowers’ room, I’m stuck with the last butterfly even if the hint already showed me where it is because the skeleton is in front of it and is smudged!! I already repeated the level 3 times and still stuck with the butterfly

It’s clockwise for the a to z order! Not counter clockwise.
I have Agatha Christie Death on the Nile and I am STUCK.
In Dr. Bressner’s room we are to put “5 pens in the pen box”.
I can put two pens in the brown box to the right beside the toothbrush cup ( these were lying down flat), but the pens that are upright do not go there?? WAHHHH. I think I will just have to consider this money spent a loss. I have spent many hours and can’t solve it. Any help will be appreciated.

I noticed a few ppl asked where else to get this game from…if your still looking. I got it from shockwave, they have a whole bunch of these kinds of games on there! A lot of them are even free! I paid $10 for a month of unlimited games (full versions, no ads) it’s less if you buy more months at a time. I totally think it’s worth it!
where are all the butterflys in the green room
Puzzle Box was easy: all you have to do is line up the ones that rhime by row: one row: three, tree…; next hog, frog, etc.
I am still stuck with the 3 ducks in a row…

Well, I am a die-hard Agatha fan…..have seen this movie about a kazillions times and never dreamed a game could be so much fun….it took a little bit of chutzbah to get through it, but I finally made it after 22 hours and 12 minutes…..once I started, I could not stop!!! …the pens, torn photos & letters, roses, puzzle box, rainbows and marbles were all ok, but those doggone ducks in a row just about put me under as it took me 22 tries and 3 heart attacks before I figured that one out……hahahahha….then came the Rosary….thought, “Oh no, what in heaven’s name is this about”?…..stopped as it was 4:45 a.m. by now, got some fresh air, sat quietly under the Texas starlit sky and it hit me, “Alpha–Omega”, beginning & end……flew back to my room, jumped on the laptop and I was off and running…..WHAT FUN, WHAT FUN, WHAT FUN…..I do not think that I have ever enjoyed Agatha more……take care y’all and enjoy your trip down the Nile…….zz
The three duck has numbers on themselves, you need to put them increasing from 1 to 5
duck 1 and 5 are on the top shelf. I had to place duck 2 next to duck 1 then duck 4 next to duck 5. Then finally place duck 2 and it was easy. duck 2 kept giving me that incorrect msg. Put he finally “stuck” I hate that. But I got it.
There is a shelf with two ducks on it, one on each end. they are kind of upside down. Start with the duck with a four on it and put it on the far right next to the end duck. then do three, then two. That was the easiest way for me
