You get rewarded for placing first in the competitions and can get new uniforms to wear. You start in the USA and also travel to China, plus there are competitions in Mexico as well. As you play longer in the game there are more ingredients added to the kitchen, so by the end of the game it will be a very full kitchen with lots of recipes to make.
