I feel th3e game is a bit dissapointing I didn’t not like doing the jigsaw puzzles at the end. Prime Suspects was better with the alternative games at the end in my opinion.

I think it has something to do with finding the wrong key´s, because if you keep looking, you will be able to find more key´s, than 7, the counter just starts to count -1, -2 and so on, so keep trying looking for key´s.

  42. Sarah says:

I used my 5 hints to figure it out. First you open the bottle with the can opener. Then you click on the time card to show you 930 and set the clock to 930. There is a little valve right next to the clock to the left you click it to turn it on. Then you click on the cat card then the car. After that turn the bottle upside down. It then fills the bath tub and you click on the rubber ducky to drop the guys arm. You then click on the screaming guy above the time clock and then fill the ballon you may have to click the screaming guy again. And thats it.

When you get all 7 keys, you go to the basement tab and go to cellar. You will see a yellow door. You click it to bring it to the screen than if you place all the keys on at a time in the middle it will give you a letter spelling the word forever, than you need to have the word forever in the areas that you spell and than click in the middle where you put the keys. The doors will open than to reveal a coffin, you need to move the lid with your mouse to remove the lid. Finally you have the spirit and the game ends.

  60. David says:

This is rather hard to explain but in the puzzle where you have to get all the lights to go on you have to click on the lights that are off (even if they light up) when you start each puzzle. When you get all the lights on you get a battery. Insert the battery into the correct coloured slot and then do the next lights puzzle clicking on all the lights that are off at the start.

If you find all 7 keys for the cellar but can’t get into the cellar then you need to start the level again and find the keys on the other floors except the basement because if you find a key ion one of the areas in the basement it locks the basement tab and you can’t click on it to get into the cellar. So DO NOT CLICK ON THE BASEMENT TAB UNTIL YOU HAVE GOT ALL 7 KEYS FROM THE OTHER AREAS!

None of the puzzles in Ravenhearst are that tough. If you have a real problem with them, send me some mail, but you really ought to solve them by yourself. Finale: There are plenty of keys to be found, but you only need to find any six of them, it doesn’t matter which ones. Click on the cellar tab and then the circles on the door. Place each key one at a time in the middles space. Match the letter revealed in each circle. I believe that the final word revealed is different in each game play. Mine did not show “forever” as mentioned before. The door will open and you move the coffin to reveal a nasty corpse. The end.

to get into the basement you have to find keys from anywhere but the basement once you have seven keys then go to the basement. if you take keys from the basement you will not be able to go back there. There are more than 7 keys for sure I found 12
If you do end up disabling the basement, simply let your time run out and start over finding the keys. I learned this information the hard way.

There is a lever directly below the light board. Each time you light all the lights, pull the lever. A battery of a certain color will pop up and the light board will reset. Light them all again and pull the lever again. Repeat five times.

The code is different every time. When you get to the door in the cellar it’s fairly obvious which keys go in which holes. Drag each key, in order, over the window in the center of the screen.

Each key will yield a different letter, spelling s seven-letter word. Push the red button next to the corresponding keyhole to turn it green, then rotate the “knob” until the same letter appears.

The seven-letter word that appears is different every time you play. I’ve played twice and the words I got were IDOLIZE and CHERISH.

For the first puzzle, start with the first unlit bulb on the upper left corner and go diagonally to the lower right, clicking unlit bulbs as you go. Then use the knife switch and you’ll get a batteryi.

But beware. The light bulb puzzle has to be solved once for each battery, and no pattern is the same.

I, too, can’t get to the basement. I do remember finding one of my first keys there so that’s probably what’s wrong. I’ve tried re-finding the keys (I’ve found them three times now) but the basement level hasn’t one of the options. It takes forever to let the time run out (even if I click around a bunch so it penalizes me). I’m wondering if maybe I should just start the whole thing over again.

Match the shape of the key with the circle and place the letter there by clicking the red button and then turning the dial at the bottom until the circle indicates that letter. Each time you solve the puzzle the secret word is different. One was forever and then cherish.

    KEYS

Before you can complete the final puzzle, you need to find 7 keys. Every room has a key, although some disappear so you never know which rooms have the keys and which don’t. But they are always in the same place, so this should make things a lot easier.

Attic On the right hand window frame
Backyard Bottom left, on the wheel just below left of the iron.
Cellar On the edge of the map on the back wall. Very top of the screen
Dining Room On the light at the top of the screen, just below the left two.
Entry Bottom left corner is an owl, above which is a face. The key is where the mouth is.
Front Porch At the top of the pillar, next to a bracket
Game Room Just above the corner pocket of the pool/billiards table, lower centre of the screen
Garage Very top of screen, about an inch from the right
Garden Almost toughing the axe head on the left hand side. Lower centre of screen.
Greenhouse Just below the binoculars in the lower left corner
Guest Bathroom Bottom centre, on the wooden bucket.
Guest Quarters Almost very centre of screen, in a green drawer on the right of the curtain/drape
Kitchen In the bottom left corner is a wheel, the key is in the corner of the table.
Library Very left, halfway down, next to the lamp.
    Living Room
Master Bathroom Upper right corner, between the toilet cistern and the window.
Master Bedroom Bottom centre, just to the left of the chest at the end of the bed.
Music Room In the bottom left corner is a saxophone, to the left is a pencil, then compass, the key
Nursery On the door frame, just above the football helmet
Pantry At the top of the cello, just before the scroll
Parlor On the statue on the right, about halfway down. In lin with the top of the couch/sofa
Servants Quarters Above the top right corner of the painting
Shed Very top centre of the screen. Between the phone and dynamite. Very rusty.
Storage Room On the knights armour, between the pig and the globe
Study On top of the lattice, underneath the window
Surveillance Room On the chair frame, below the slingshot
Taxidermy Room On the small table, between the drum and the fish
Theatre Just to the left of the lamp base, above the elephant
Treehouse On the lowest branch to the right, just above right of the blue ribbon
Wardrobe A reflection in the mirror, just left of the centre
Widow’s Walk On the door frame, on the right of the screen, just above the french fries
Workshop On the right hand side of the back of the chair.
