This is pretty exciting news as I know a lot of fans of this game were clamoring to get a sequel. When we know more about Westward 2 we will let you know. Until then, try the original Westward game!
Update: According to recent posts on the sandlot forums Westward 2 will 3D! This will make the western style towns very interesting to explore due to the excellent artwork.

Hitman> that only happened to me once and it was part of the game. I played it some months ago, so I forgot the names of the towns, but ti went like this. built a town, task in some other town, came back and that town was flooded! it was the town with the train track and you had to stop the evil russian guy.
anyways, can’t wait for the sequel!

it didn’t come out yet, they just released new pics though on sandlot games’ website. new info is going to be released over the next couple weeks.

I Only hope that you will be able to just pick up a player and place them where you need them. That’s the only problems I had with westward 1.

Does anyone know the status of Westward 2? I’ve been very excited about this game coming out but getting tired of the waiting..especially with no updates.

Been waiting a long time to get the word a Westward 2 is coming to town “pardner.” Will also be happy if there is an option to skip tutorial…. i hate games which do not offer this option.

Well, I got to play this game already as a tester sort of capacity … you dont need any more of a shmancy computer than you needed for the first westward … and it is really funny still, they still say funny things and it is really really good, with great graphics and things to do, just brilliant, Cant wait to buy it to be honest lol xx
I beta tested W2 for playfirst’s firstpeek program. loved the new format and play style. you get to choose from 3 heroes to play, rather than one, and there are lots of new options. loved it, can’t wait for it to be released.

Does the game work. And is it full without timelimits
The following I found Funny: “Watch out for Timmy”… when building wells; “Platform 9 3/4″… one of the Outposts is named this (Watch Harry Potter to get this joke); “Does anyone want a horsey ride”… the nice Sheriff likes to say this one in awhile.
Westward II - Sulfur well = Black Gravel crate; Salty Well = Pine Resin crate; Junk Well = Netting crate; Iron Well = Baking Soda crate. Faster game play is made possible when you first shutdown the computer with standby power options in the control panel (both hard disks and monitor). After the computer reboots, start Westward or Westward 2 game so faster game play is made possible. Always send in error reports so that the next Westward version is made without these errors.
All you hv to to is tht, be4 the game ends, quit the game first be4 the computer restart it all over again.
is anyone having problems with the game. I am getting like 3d extensions off of people and objects in the game. . maybe its because i have vista
I am new to westward and downloaded 2 and so far enjoying it quite a bit. I am stuck on a side quest (sorry don’t remember the name)but I have to help these folks mine 1200 gold and “protect the mine” I have mined the gold and killed the out laws and even built a jail with a sheriff but I still haven’t protected the mine. Any ideas?

Ok who’s found the other half of the key in the gunslinger gulch town??? I can’t figure our how to get past the bridge to get to the other water hole. Already tried to blow it up, but it’s pretty solid

I really need help on one of the quests. It asks to build an outpost but I have tried all buildings that I have and none of them are what it considers to be an outpost building. Does anyone know what the outpost building is?
i love westward ill love this game to
build a bunch of one man homes (they will take longer to take them from you) so you can get more workers. Set up another gold mine in the NW where the bandits are to get gold faster - also a good idea to build a wood shack to collect wood to build more homes when they take them from you. build a ssloon before you raise the 1200 gold and buy 3 gunslingers - they will protect your gold mine.

I need to fine away to blow up rocks on the road. did the first one.. and the second dont know what to do. well not let me putt the dynamite next to it.. any one know what to do…
Second one is, to get to the 5th dead cow, same thing cant dynamite it too, so how do I get to the cow???

Out post is the neutral green building. “The Station” next to the wagon trail. Click on it and then repair it.
I’m having problems with that quest too. everytime I try to repair the outpost it won’t let me. how can i make it work?

how do I blow up a bridge?? trying to get to the second half of the key, but built a bridge just before it and now I can’t blow it up…grrr.. frustrated
why doesn’t the dinamite blow up the bridge??
